This was a warm up gig for the bands 2 week European tour and therefore the promotion was nonexistant, and explained the poor turn out.
That didn't matter though the bands were on form. Amputated treated us to some amusing death/grind shinanigans, with tracks about oral sex and AIDS on the set list..all in the best possible taste!
Local band Cold Lazarus were not their usual vibrant selves, maybe pretour nerves? Their brand of melodic death is in contrast to the death grind sound of the other bands but they have some solid…

Are all playing in Colchester tonight, which I only spotted by going onto the Twist web site yesterday! A welcome suprise,and a good night in store I think..at least a very noisy one!

The adds were really annoying and I hope that the site will improve soon. Am I a grumpy old man or what?

My subsciption has just expired, and I am wondering why I should re -subscribe, since I don't seem to get any quicker sevice than a non subscriber..any thoughts anyone?

Off to Bratislava tonight for a long weekend with friends !Two of them are turning 40, so we are all celebrating and taking in a trip to Vienna as well! Any Slovakian Last FM'ers out there please recommend any metal bars or just somewhere good to visit!?

Nile last night were awesome, They did stuff from the AOTW and Darkened Shrines, Black Seeds of Vengeance and one fron the first cd! Yyrkoon supported and were very good as well. psycroptic also played and were ok too..we missed the earlioer bands as we didn't realise that it all started at 6.30!…

I have just picked up the new album 'Somewhere Along The Highway' and i love it. Its a bit mellower than Salvation..still early days with it as CoL albums take a good few listens to take in, but so far I love it..
