I`ve searched around almost all good music stores, including amazon and itunes for the song carousel and there is none listed as being sung by linkin park. I want someone ou there to really find out the truth about this song`s origin. I even looked up in wikipedia but they havent mentioned any song title carousel there either. Maybe its from one of their underground "fans only" releases or its not by them at all.

Thats when I found out that its from an extended play(EP) album they had made before actually releasing hybrid theory. That was distributed to many record labels. it was titled Hybrid theory EP. so there you have it, dont confuse hybrid theory with hybrid theory EP and its a track that you cant buy anywhere now because that was a limited edition. according to wikipedia, only 1000 copies of the EP were pressed.
