I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music, love Dream Theater, music, Dan, Steven Wilson, voluntary work, learning about music, animal rights, philosophy, veganism, sweep picking, the samaritans, learning about alcoholism/drug addiction, time signatures and playing piano. I get obsessed with particular songs and listen to them on repeat for aaaaaages :-) I also got a first in my dissertation about progressive metal, cos I'm just that awesome, and probably a bit too cocky. Music is almost everything to me. Current volunteering for the Samaritans and a rehab unit within a prison alongside my paid 9 to 5 job, and have just began the first stages of studying to be a Counsellor.
I refuse to die until i've seen dredg live.

2011 makes me super excited about -
New Radiohead - what a let down that was
New Dream Theater! - It took a while to grow on me, and it's a very good album with some stunning parts throughout, but still missing that certain something (Portnoy)
New Steven Wilson solo album! - Had it a while but I think I'll end up preferring Insurgentes
New dredg album! - Total let down. Two or three good songs but nothing compared to the raw emotion of Catch Without Arms
New Blackfield album! - Awesome album
New Symphony X album! - Incredible, best new album this year so far, haven't really taken it out of my car stereo since I got it
