    Yo, I'll check out new Dan Deacon when I get a chance... I guess a lot's new, haha. But the bottom line is, I've been working and trying to pay off debt. What about yourself? Find any new, interesting bands? Most newer music seems pretty boring.

    Yo man, I was wondering what you thought of the Flaming Lips' older stuff? I thought Telepathic Surgery was alright, but I just looked up their Wiki and see they have two albums before Telepathic--Oh My Gawd! and Hear It Is. Are they any good at all and/or would you possibly be able to up 'em?

    Yeah, I remember my bro telling me something about Smile and how Smiley Smile was what Smile was supposed to be, but Smile had different takes and just different songs all around. I've never heard of that album, is it any good?

    Uhhh I ain't so sure if you have, but I definitely do. I've listened to all of their (main) albums, and I think Pet Sounds was one of the weirdest / best, but for me, I really really love their hits... like Don't Worry Baby (my absolute favorite), Wendy, Help Me Rhonda, etc. It's funny how minimal of a band they are, but how amazing the music is. Plus, some of the stories I've heard about Brian Wilson are pretty crazy, mainly the whole Charles Manson shenanigans.

    And when I say lame, I mean, really rowdy/loud/moshing sometimes... there was a video online (of another show), where Bus was playing Drive acoustic, two guys started fighting, and Brandon stops and just says something along the lines of, "c'mon, get out of here if you're gonna do that." It's pretty cool actually.

    Nah. It was pretty much all the fans/hardcore fans already had. I'm really liking the new songs that they put on the GH though. They were also fucking spot on live. It would've been the best show by them if the crowd wasn't so lame.

    Demon Days kind of bores me after the first 5 or 6 songs... but the first 5 or 6 songs are really really good. I do prefer the self-titled. I forgot he produced Beck's newest.
