I went to ICC after a long interval. On Sept 15, an exhibition "LIFE - fluid, invisible, inaudible" by Sakamoto Ryuichi and Shiro Takatani began, and there was one and more hour talk-show to commemorate this beginning (actually there was a little live concert too, but unfortunately I didn't have the ticket).
In their talk-show, they and Akira Asada (chairperson) mainly mentioned about the changes from their past work "LIFE". According to them, this exhibition is the reconstruction of it. They said "LIFE" was very linear work, and had very fixed style of showing. Although I've never seen it…

This is the debut album of Ulrich Schnauss, mainly consisted of tender synthesizer sounds like feathers. It's comfortable for me like Durutti Column's works. It reminds me of early summer.

Mew is strong recommendation from some of my friends. When I listened their music first, I said to my friends about similarity between Mew and Sigur Rós (and suchlike musicians). But now I feel taste like Alternative Rock such as superchunk from their music. Their music is lyric, and also very strong (catchy) song indeed. Fuji Rock Festival is very nice experience for me that we others can share common interests, fever and sometimes bitterness. I'm always surprised many music lovers are gathering there, and I become pleased about that. Surrounded by natures, All we have to do are enjoying good musics … and something we like to do, freely! Notwithstanding only one day this year, it was very nice experience as usual. It's totally different from usual my life.

Elliott Smith - New Moon (2007)

Elliott Smith died on 2002. So this is compilation album that is compiled from his unreleased works. His singing voice is so nice as usual, he had already gone though … This movie below is one of my favorite his songs, "Miss Misery" (but I actually like all of his songs). This album collects another version of this song (the original version is in XO ).

I usually go to the gym twice a week at least. I do 25 minutes jog after muscles training. I always listen to music when I'm running. Some musics are really effective for running comfortably. Especially I like to listen to solid and hard drums, indeed.

高木正勝 - Journal For People (2006)

This is Masakatsu Takagi's audio and visual work. The CD is packaged together with a DVD. Both are very nice! I always feel strong comfort from his works. I think one of reasons why I feel so is, he naturally creates his works in his usual life. Actually he make his visual works from not special landscapes for example, japanese children, amusement park, and so on. We Japanese have indeed ever seen these landscapes…

Recently I like his music the most. Actually I think he is a follower of Prefuse 73, but his music is really cool! His music is based on Trip Hop (including Hip Hop taste). Especially he often breaks the rhythm and use voice effects. It looks chaotic but it's very beautiful (of course like Prefuse 73 ;-)).
