About two years ago I heard of a hiatus. I was devasted. Thought that I would never see the Chili Peppers live. Thought that I would never hear new songs. I have followed them for as long as I could remember. Two days ago I heard of someone leaving. This is just so sad. Although the new guy supposedly collaborated in Stadium Arcadium he's got big expectations to fill. Their last album sounded very different than their previous ones, which even though I am writing this, I am tired of hearing. So what if it sounded different? They are growing up, getting married, having children. They are going to sing about different things and they will do it magnificently like always. Maybe this is also a reason as to why it did sound differently because Josh came around. I am not going to judge before I hear them together. I am not going to doubt his talent. I am hoping for the best and can't wait for them to go back on tour so I can finally see them live.
