This based on the "Emo Test", of course, only using Ecto artists. Ecto is short for Ectophiles and it's based on a mailing list of fans for Happy Rhodes. Think of it as the chick flick version of music (or as Norah Jones described herself, "soft-cock rock", haha).

The top ten ecto artists

The ecto group has a few hundred members but they must not all be active or tagging. Anyway, I've added my perspective through tags, but if you ask me, the weekly tracks are more illustrative of what I think ecto is – usually mellow, often upbeat pop masterpieces with a focus on the emotional content of the voice, with music flexible from rock to electronica.

So, on to the meme!

1. Take your top ten artists and list their ecto rating (look at the artist tags page).
