- traveling. I heard a clip of it on her official site around the release of 光.

- HOME. I first saw a clip of the PV on her official site right before the single was released and I knew that I had to download it.

- Sweet Mom. I used to think it was a pretty boring song, but one day I happened to listen to it and my entire perception of the song changed. I don't know why.

- Wannabe. Come on, whose first song from the Spice Girls wasn't Wannabe?

- BLOOD on FIRE. I saw them perform it on POP JAM and I liked the song enough to go download the single.

- real Emotion. Final Fantasy X-2, obviously.
- I was a semi-fan around the time of キューティーハニー and Butterfly but it wasn't until I heard D.D.D. feat.SOULHEAD that I was hooked.

- fairyland. I saw her perform it on Music Station and I thought that I would really dislike her, but I ended up really liking the song.

- A Perfect Sky. I kept seeing the cover around various places online and I decided to look up the PV on YouTube.

- Around The World. I just had to look the song up on YouTube when I heard that two of the members were brothers from Canada.
- Picture Perfect, but that's technically a song by Monkey Majik + m-flo. If we're talking exclusively Monkey Majik, it'd have to be 空はまるで.

- A Moment Like This. I was half-watching when she won American Idol.

- VALENTI. I don't even remember how I came across it.
- It's been a long road to me becoming a BoA fan. I liked VALENTI, and I initially only kept listening to her because I wanted to hear something a lot like VALENTI. Mm… I guess you could say QUINCY was the song that got me to think a little more open-mindedly.

- I honestly don't remember since I got my first exposure to her through Radio@AOL. It was probably Kiss, since I remember not liking it, but I may have heard another song before it.

- バイマイメロディー. Coincidentally, バイマイメロディー came out at the same time that I heard about the gay rumors. Ha ha.

- TAKE ME HIGHER. I read a TOKYOPOP article about the Ultraman Tiga movie and it mentioned TAKE ME HIGHER. Naturally, being the young and curious boy I was, I downloaded the song off Napster.

- a little pain. I hadn't watched the NANA anime series, but I wanted to know what the song sounded like because I loved the songs from the NANA movie.
