ohmygod I've been meaning to write for like a month (probably more at this point). first things first: MUSE!! I'm so glad you got to see them too! I'm still on a high from the concert and it was almost 3 months ago. Actually my Facebook profile picture keeps getting changed back to pictures from the concert, 'cause I miss it so much. Back to why it took forever to respond: soooo stressed (not that I need to tell YOU about stress - graduation is right around the corner for you now!) My best friend from college is getting married in 11 days (is it 11? whatever, next Friday). I'm a bridesmaid so it's been crazy. And she lives in Jersey (needless to say, I do not) and I still don't have a car so, yeah, nightmare getting there for the bridal shower and dress fittings. And I have to be there 2 days early for the rehearsal dinner, so I'm working 32 hours in 3 days next week. I'm gonna die, haha. Anyway, congrats on going to your first choice in the fall. You'll be 2(?) timezones closer to me!

Well I saw Muse in concert on Tuesday night. Hands down the best night of my life. And this is coming from the girl who has had conversations with her idol (Scott Alan) on two separate occasions while he was onstage and in the middle of concerts. Muse beat that by a landslide. Maybe because I'd been waiting patiently to see them for over 6 years now. Maybe because they are the best live band (not that I have a lot to compare them to, but I do have Rolling Stone backing me up on that). Are you seeing them next month? I know you'd mentioned the possibility. In other news - I'm up to nothing. I didn't get that job I interviewed for last August (which is good because I got a bad vibe when I was there) but I did get a job as a pharmacy tech a couple weeks later. I've been there 6 months. The pay sucks but it's a job (with benefits!) I think that's pretty much it in my life. Still single (half by choice 'cause boys suck, half because there are no good East Coast boys!) but totally content :D

Okay, i just came onto your page because I couldn't remember if you were a Muse fan or not... but then I saw your most recent plays and I'm pretty sure I got my answer, haha. Anyway, the reason I had been wondering is because I'm *finally* going to be seeing them in concert in Philly in March!!! I've been dying to see them in concert for 6 years and it is finally happening! :D Anyway... how have you been?!

(cont'd, haha) And let's just say that interview went *horribly*. I plan on doing my research this time though. Ooh! Catch Me If You Can!! I adore Norbert and Aaron is adorable. And of course Kerry's fab. In regard to meeting Eden... I basically went 'Ohmygod I've been waiting to meet you for 3 years now since I saw you as my first Elphie on Broadway' and then I may have listed the few times I was supposed to see her when she didn't actually end up being there (aka Scott's first show and when I saw Rent last summer).

Oooh, your travels sound awesome. I do have to agree about the too much parents/not enough friends thing. After getting to spend my Ireland vacation with my best friend instead of with any relatives, I can definitely agree that I'd rather see new places with friends. Your summer sounds insane. Mine has been the complete opposite. I went to the beach with my family for a week (and my best friend came down for the weekend and then my best friend from college came down during the week and when she was there she asked me to be her bridesmaid next year!!) and other than that I've done nothing. Well, that's not true... I've spent the entire summer applying for jobs and literally getting nowhere. Until like today. I got asked to come in for an interview for a position in a lab at a university in Philly. Here's to hoping that goes well... it should be early next week. I'm so nervous because the last hardcore interview I had was for an honors program when I was applying for colleges.

Haha, you're a senior now... you're old!! And ohmygosh yes, the Tonys were amazing, apart from the whole sound sucking worse than anything I've ever heard before. NPH was the perfect host (though I love me some Hugh Jackman). The closing number and the Hair performance were my favorites (mostly because I'm totally in love with Gavin Creel and the whole thing with Anne Hathaway was adorable. The Wicked girls interviewed him later that night and he was all "I'm in love with her!" which I thought was adorable). I want to see Hair sooo badly. I actually met Caissie Levy on Monday night at Scott Alan's concert in NY and I was like totally gushing to her about seeing her on the Tonys. (Ooh and I *finally* met Eden Espinosa... that's only been, what, 3 years in the making?) And there was the whole little thing of Scott having a freaking conversation with me while he was sitting at the piano in between songs... I love him :D

Wow, that would be better than I did on either of my AP exams (then again I didn't study for either of mine because I knew that I had to take both courses again my first year of college). Don't you just hate the end of the year? It's so stressful, with all the projects and papers. This semester it made me soooo grateful that my American Gov't class was front-heavy and that our huge paper of the semester was due the last week of February (I hated it at the time but it totally saved me later on). Ireland was amazing! I never really got horribly drunk, though we did go out in some shape or form almost every single night. My first night there I had some Irish guy laying on the charm at a club. That was a first. I also saw all sorts of amazing sights and took like 200 pictures. I agree about Glee. Loved it, and that Don't Stop Believing version. I was impressed, and that takes a lot since it's my 2nd favorite song of all-time. Did you watch the Tonys at all?

Oh don't worry, I'm definitely doing the graduation ceremony, even though I'd rather not. Apparently like my entire family is coming (aunts, uncles, some cousins, plus my grandparents). Plus my best friend (the one that's not in Ireland) will be there, so that will make it better. I bought a dress today to wear for graduation and I really like it, so that makes it better as well (each little thing seems to make it better, as long as I don't think about the awful graduation gowns or the fact that I have to not fall in front about 3000 people). I can't believe it's in less than a week now. And yeah, totally looking forward to Ireland. Exactly a week from now my flight will have just left Atlanta, headed for Dublin. Then I come back and real life starts. Oooh, AP exams. Ouch. Yep, those will cause almost as much tension as finals were causing amongst me and my science friends last week. (It was bad.) Apparently I'm going to go watch Slumdog Millionaire right now...

Haha, who knows; but we definitely are both awesome. It has been forever... senior year's going all right. In fact it's more or less gone. My last class was on Friday. I had one final today, two tomorrow and one this Friday, then I'm officially done. Oh, and that whole graduation ceremony thing in the middle of the month (which I'd so not rather participate in but my mom wants me to). I can't believe graduation is less than 2 weeks away... it's so weird. Then I leave for Ireland the next day to visit my best friend because she's studying abroad there. I'm just there for a week but I thought it'd be a nice little graduation present to myself. How's your year been? Junior year right?

Aw ATU. I just watched that last night for the first time in months and you were listening to it at the same time. Kind of amusing... We're still Super. This both confuses me and makes me happy.

I don't understand how we have John Barrowman in common, but I have never seen you listen to him....

When you said that I was trying to remember a rock song from that... I could only think of Hulk Hogan's theme and that was from the WWF (yes I know I'm old).. Hulk Hogan isn't on there anymore is he?

Yeah, that's the new one; I completely forgot what it was called. Haha, I love trying out new CDs when I have to do work and know that I won't be singing along or whatever (it backfires sometimes though because I then get really into the music and start paying attention to it more than my work...) Ugh, I hate getting sick right at the beginning of the year. Senior year's good so far. I'm doing fine with Elementary Italian (other than the fact that I don't know anyone because there are 3 sophomores, 12 freshman and me) and Intro to Philosophy is interesting but really confusing. Mythology is pretty cool but there are so many freaking versions of all the myths it's hard to keep them straight. And then there's Molecular Genetics. It's intense but cool. We're actually having this super important speaker coming to the school tomorrow and he's a molecular biologist so our class is more or less required to go to the meet and greet, the lecture and the wine and cheese reception. Should be fun!

Yay! Which one was it, their new one? I have like 4 of their cd's, including their new one, but I'm still not that familiar with it. They played at my college the first fall I was here (which was one of the most amazing experiences ever) but it was before the new cd was released so they pretty much played all the stuff I already knew. Their Goldfly was the first one I was introduced to and it's my absolute favorite but I really like Keep It Together as well. They're so chill, I just love to listen to them when I'm doing work, as you said. (My computer got wiped out almost 2 weeks ago by the IT people at my school for reasons I still don't understand so I'm slowly adding all of my music back onto my computer. It's taking forever mostly because I have a million cd's with just random songs and my computer doesn't recognize them so I have to label everything = procrastinating until further notice). How's the school year so far?

Not to mention, I think I'd rather die that try to clean my room and pack up my stuff. I never should have let it get out of hand right before my birthday/New York (yeah, it's been that long that it's looked like a warzone) and it looked soooo nice for most of the summer! Ooh, you're all creative and stuff with your Halloween costume. I don't even remember the last thing I dressed up as. Surprisingly I haven't obsessed over anything in particular as of late; though I did go insane with the In The Heights earlier in the summer and I finally gave Mamma Mia a try after I saw the movie. Mostly I just listen to my Scott Alan stuff (which is my obsession but it's thinly veiled by the fact that he has so many different performers, hehe) and random everything else :D

No worries. I feel like I've been running around in circles trying to get stuff done. And yeah, Tracie was freaking awesome. I had a feeling she'd be excellent because she's been trying to get the part for 11 years, and she went to Juilliard so she definitely has the background. It was a shame Eden wasn't on but yeah, Tracy was out of this world. And she was so funny. I was playing clips of Eden as Maureen yesterday when my mom came in my room and my mom was like 'I liked our Maureen better' (which is so typical of my mom, but whatever, she saw Eden as Elphaba with me and practically fell in love with Eden). I head back to campus next Saturday, the 30th, and then classes start that Monday, Labor Day. I'm so excited to go back!
