The first show of the New Year for Eve Radio’s Disasterpiece Theater was absolutely amazing! What really set it apart from an average show? The listeners. They’re always great but this show it went way beyond the usual energy, enthusiasm, and interaction. The requests were coming in fast and furious and each one was better than the last. Hell, I wanted to keep spinning ‘cause the music was so good.

Yay! Christmas is here and I took the opportunity to play nothing but 100% Christmas music during my show, Disasterpiece Theater on Eve Radio. It was tons o’ fun. Those of you who know me are probably not at all shocked that it wasn’t exactly traditional Christmas music I was playing. It ended up being three hours of the punchy set which amused me to no end.

Woo hoo! I had my audition to be a DJ on Eve Radio on Monday, May 11th. Evidently I did well enough to score a gig with the premier gaming radio station network. I now have a weekly show on Eve Radio (http://gamingradio.net). Envy me!

So in an attempt to find all the nifty and neglected gems I have in my music collection I set my Last.fm auto DJ script for Media Monkey to append tracks -1. What’s that mean? Well, the Last.fm auto DJ for Media Monkey takes the last couple of songs played in a playlist and queries Last.fm for similar artists. It then goes through your library and appends a song to the end of the playlist that’s similar to what you’ve just listened to. There’s a couple of different values for the plugin and the one that I messed with controls…

A bunch of weeks ago I was caught by the title of one of the blogs on Allmusic.com entitled, “AllMusic Loves 1984” (http://blog.allmusic.com/2008/07/31/allmusic-loves-1984/). So I'm sitting here. Suffering from insomnia, munching on balkava and wishing I had someone to violate. And I have to say that my choice of music isn't helping. Yeah. I'm going through the one and only Louis XIV CD I've got. What can I tell you, it's __ing awesome!
