Well the year is done and I thought it would be apt to record my scrobbling habits for 2012 (more for my record than anyone else's).

Because I only restarted scrobbling in around August there are a few missing for the Foo Fighters Wasting album (which I was still listening to then), Boy and Bear and also Fleet Foxes all who I listened to a lot in the start of the year. This also explains the relatively low scrobbling numbers for the year.

However I still think it will be a fun thing to look back on in the future, so without further ado, here goes

On reflection it really is a chart dominated by Mumford & Sons new album Babel and a host of old favorites, with 6 of the top 10 artists and 4 of the top albums all being from my overall top 10.

It is fair to say that I discovered some great new songs and artists that didn't get a mention here with honorable mentions going to: my fav female artist at the moment: Brooke Waggoner, The Black Keys song Lonely Boy (which I cannot believe didn't make the top tracks list - must have listened to that one on youtube a bit too much), Little Talks by Finish band Of Monster's and Men and Jack White's new album Blunderbuss.

My new years music resolution would have to be to listen to more new music and not rely on the old favs to get through the day (something that is easier said than done).

We'll do it all again next year and see how I went.
