It's an internet radio station. They have a FB page up if you want to look for it. The Joint in Las Vegas only holds 4,000 people and is a bit easier for me to get to if I stay there. If I go to Los Angeles (fly), I have to find some way to get to and from the venue. At the Las Vegas show I can either stay at the hotel where the show is at, or somewhere in the area. Haha yea, I'm visiting one of my best friends in Ohio this Summer, so he's being kind enough to go to some shows with me out there since it's the week of my birthday.

Why does being an adult have to interfere with live music :)? I won them through an internet radio station in Los Angeles called Moheak Radio. I'm waiting for an answer back. The Radius Clause for Festivals is in full effect for Northern California, so if I can score a ticket next week, I'm thinking of flying to Las Vegas to see NIN.

My heart hurt a little when I saw the news on his Facebook. The main issue is that the show is still on a Wednesday, when I'll be taking 16 units at my college this Fall. Depends on my work load on Art Projects and if the tickets I won will (still) be honored. I emailed the radio station I won them from to figure it out. He's playing Treasure Island Fest here in San Francisco but paying $220+ to see him play outdoors, more than 700 people and a shorter set? Ugh!

Tricky announced today all his US tour dates have been postponed for much later dates. You will still be able to go, I won't :(

I agree on lots of stuff from Maxinquaye. Honestly, I'm just happy to finally see him live. I've loved his music since I was 13 and I'm beyond excited to be going to that show.

Nice! I saw that it only holds like 700-ish people, which is awesome. I've only listened to the new album a couple times and I like it. It's a bit safe, but I like it a lot more than much of his most recent output. You? Also I totally don't mind that you added me on here!

Sweet! I've never been to the El Rey. Coming from the Bay Area on vacation for a week. Hopefully one of my best friends can give me a ride to the show!

highly recommended by me. especially their earlier stuff. Try Fugue State. It's free to be downloaded from as low bit rate mp3's. i would like to hear your critical opinion about it.

omg, i thought it's easier in US, but now it looks like to go to find an "american dream" in an other state is the same as to move to Europe. i just wonder if the economic situation in Cali is worse compared to NY or Michigan or whatever the north state. of course not because of terminator acting as a governor but because of industry and business issues which are usually related to working places' availability. i was hired 5 years ago and since then did practically the same things. however i wasn't allowed to travel first 2 years due to our internal policy.

yeah, traveling is the nicest part of my job. and unfortunately i never travel for leisure. one reason is that i lack spare time and another is that it' s freaking expensive. travel costs are incomparably higher than average wages one could have in eastern Europe, especially when visiting countries like US or Canada. you mentioned it's not easy to find a good job in California, what about other states? why not to migrate unlike the birds to the north ))

most of my time i advise on various aspect of international relations mainly in the field of civil aviation. but i'm sure that anything related to electronic music would be more interesting, at least for me. what about your part time job, do you practise design?

i think i have done with my studies. i first graduated as lawyer but never tried to become the advocate (in my homecountry it's the same as barrister in US in the sense that it gives you the right to represent someone in court. instead of this, i only have the right to give consultation to the public or to be hired as a lawyer by a firm). i also tried a distant education and as the result several years after i achieved degree in economy. long story short, at present i'm neither a lawyer nor economist ))) what are you studying? P.S. i:scintilla? i don't remember how, but.. may it's a similar artist to kt?
