I see you've found Hotel... that's probably the first Moby disc I'll revisit. Yes, I have Spotify and I checked out the satch track - really cool. I'll e playing a lot of Joe over the next few weeks I'm sure - stupid sorry lousy road trips coming up. I'm such a homebody... well anyway, back to the music.

Petty is awesome, I've got all the albums on either vinyl or cd. I can't wait til his new one comes out at the end of the month, it's going to be awesome!

And I'm sure your map was the same as mine, not just a tool, can be used on any website

Yeah, there are other reasons. But it doesn't list the username. So I kind of use them in tandem. I kind of 'caught' someone today who is listed as Russia on, but the log said Ukraine. I know they're close, but why list a country you don't live in. I left her a shout just 2 find out what was up. Maybe she has a reason. Probably not a good 1, but I'm sure there's a reason, lol

Yeah, I don't see the little black dot anymore, lol. But you never know who you're getting now if it's not up. I knew I had a lot of visitors because of being a subscriber, but didn't think I'd have this many after a day & a half. By the way, it counts you as a new visitor every 24 hours, not every time you come onto my page

Actually was thinking about that, lol. But yours was more advanced, you could get cities also. I just get state, country & the computer specs

Yeah, started yesterday morning. Love it. Got the upgraded version where I get a visitor log of everybody who visits (even unnecessarily lists peoples browers & operating systems) & can collect different states & regions from other countries. You just put Ohio in 3rd place, lol

They were already on cd, just never bothered to rip them or listen to them for that matter. Didn't realize what was there, figured I already had the tracks somewhere else.

I finally figured out this bonus cd that came with a Tom Petty documentary I've had for a few years had some different versions of songs on there including a version of Honey Bee with Dave Grohl on drums from SNL. I might upload something if I remember....

I figured out a long time ago that I wasn't going to have hip listening tastes. It was cooler to be into the underground thing where maybe a few of your friends had heard of a band. Not that that informs my tastes today but certainly quite a bit of my music would never be played on mainstream radio. Unless we're talking about Sara Evans, she seems to be everywhere at the moment. I just didn't realize she was popular until I checked out the local country station. But it's such a good album, I don't care!

I couldn't really tell you what they're playing on the radio in terms of new music these days, even when I listen to the radio it's older songs.

oh, that's what u were talking about. I actually ran across another guy like that a couple weeks ago, hit 1,000,000 in 3 1/2 years, his average per day was about 800. You know, the funny thing about these guys who do that is obviously they didn't know about the 1 million mark when they started. They were trying 2 get several million I'm sure, maybe they think there's some kind of trophy, lol. Then when they're in a rush to hit 1 million & it ends, it screws up their account & there's nothing they can do, it's over. But I've done the same thing. A couple times when I was working, I forgot to turn off my Media Player when I left the house & had 2 delete about 10 hours of scrobbles when I got home :/ Fun stuff

I'm not sure if I've scrobbled him, though I think I have, but I have heard Moby, including the Play and 18 albums... another one you might like is Hotel which is, I believe, the one after 18. Yup I will definitely spin some Moby. You know what, I am determined to say something nice about every album on the Deadbeat Club page and with Ultimatum it's that their album length is perfect - 44 minutes. It's an approach and philosophy even perhaps, that a lot of artists would do well to emulate!

I don't think u would really have to delete them. Because obviously you're not including them in your Marathon total. I've seen T-Bone listen to like 2 or 3 different artists on Friday, but just go with the main one

Agreed. Do the drugs at home. Anyway, was the Ultimatum album your Deadbeat pick? I've been thinking of giving a Moby album a spin

So who was your Marathon artist? Can't tell

With that Technotronic comment you're dating yourself :) I remember techno stuff was all the rage around '99 with Prodigy and Chemical Brothers being the next big thing. It's cool but it gets pretty stale quick in my opinion. Just don't start going to raves and doing the drugs mmkay....

I'd consider getting a copy of that Songs collection I was listening to earlier. I like his ambient stuff, I found it pretty enjoyable.

I recognize the song, but it's probably because I had the album at one point. I remember the video for South Side with Gwen Stefani was in regular rotation on vh1. That was back when they actually played music videos. It was a good track and that's why I ended up buying the album. The album was a pretty big seller from what I remember.
