Tue 30 Jun – AC/DC, The Subways, The Answer
hello best gig of my life near enough,
i was a bit gutted that Thin Lizzy had pulled out of the tour due to injury but AC/DC made up for it.
It seems as if AC/DC just get better with age!
the queue that we had to wait in at the train station was an indicator of just how many people were going, it was outside of the door and curled along the edge of the train station walls for a stretch.
"fuck sake man, check the queue!" was the charming remark from most passersby.
once we reached Mount Florida we proceeded the treck to Hampden, following the hundreds of people ahead.
Due to the train queue we just caught the last fifteen minutes of The Subways, they put on quite a good show but it was evident AC/DC was on everyone's mind rather than the support bands.
bit of a wait for ACDC, but you knew when they had arrived.
ahhh, i nearly lost my shoes when Rock n roll train came on!
but it was by far worth it ;)
they played a few from their new album but you just couldn't compare it to their old songs that they played, unbelievable!
it was that good, waiting for a taxi for an hour and a half was well worth it.
