Last night at work, someone mentioned Whitesnake and started singing "Here I Go Again". A young woman said that she didn't know who that was and said she was born in 1986. The Whitesnake was released at the end of 1986 and happens to be one of the first two albums (on cassette) that I owned. The other was Tiffany (please forgive). They were both gifts on my 11th birthday.
So then this morning, I'm listening to something and it hit me. Most of the music that I grew up loving starts hitting 20 this year. I've been listening to some of the same songs for twenty years now! I still own that Whitesnake album (albeit on CD now).
