Donovan Wolfington is a band from New Orleans formed in 2011. They released their first album in April 2013. They play a mixture of rock, punk and pop. Their music is therefore very various which is not easy with only one album released. On the other hand some can think this variety gives the feeling that you've already heard before and being unable to put your finger on it.

    The Band :

    Neil Berthier : Guitar/Vocals
    Matthew Seferian : Guitar/Vocals
    Christian Baraks : Bass
    Savannah Saxton : Keyboard/Vocals

I really appreciate this band. I really prefer English Punk music than the one from the U.S. but Dan Vapid And The Cheats really sounds like old English Punk bands. In some songs I had the feeling to listen to The Toy Dolls above all in their first album which is for me the best one.

I really appreciate this band. They succeed to mix different sounds and different styles in a brilliant way. The idea to add vocals from other media like movies is interesting too.

I really enjoy that band with sounds that reminds me of songs you can listen in the album Tommy by The Who.
I also appreciate the fact the songs are in German ... even if I would have been satisfied to be able to understand the words.

The atmosphere Cristian Voicu wanted to create is for me very interesting. I really go with him on his destroyed planet.
For those who are depressive, I think they should avoid to listen to him too much unless they have a medical prescription !!

Even if this band is interesting and their name is funny (my mum won't never make that kind of cakes ^_^), I find their songs too repetitive.
