Ha, garage bands are the best! I wish I could hear it. The audience in this pub is always great, and I only choose uke because it's small and quiet really, which is very convenient for a "traveller" like me (and also because the shop had an awesome SpongeBob uke that I fell in love with). If you liked the song, there's a recorded version there : https://soundcloud.com/celine4cordes/autiste-begue-blup?utm_source=soundcloud&utm_campaign=share&utm_medium=facebook&utm_content=https%3A%2F%2Fsoundcloud.com%2Fceline4cordes%2Fautiste-begue-blup (it feels so weird to say that, but I'm kind of proud of it). And I totally agree with you on the enjoying part.

Ha thanks. I had a good time all right, even though I played last, which is lots of pressure, and I have a cold so my voice is shit, but people seemed to enjoy it anyway. I put a link on my facebook page if you wanna have a look at it. ANd it's good to play an instrument, even if you're not very good at it. I used to be very good at the piano, but by I'm contrained to play only the ukulele now, and i'm not good at it at all, but I stl enjoy myself with the few chords I know. What kind of music was your band playing? Do you have any records? (and YES, CALIFORNIA! It's my favourite album of all times!)

Well, it's just an open mic, so it's just one song, and people in the audience are mainly the same people who also play, so they're very kind, even though playing my own song is a bit more stressful than playing covers... well, we'll see tomorrow how it goes. Have you played on stage before? Do you play any instruments?? I'd like to become a teacher at some point, but I don't feel quite ready to have a proper job that I would have to be doing all my life at the same place and all, I find it all very scary. And I am French all right (were you thinking I was Irish?!) And what do you mean California? Do you mean California as in Mr Bungle's last record? And if you really like Secret Chiefs 3 AND FNM, I don't see how you could possibly not LOVE Mr Bungle... you should really give them another try! Is Devin Townsend your favourite artist? (do you have A favourite artist?)

Ah, looking for a job is such a pain in the ass. Good luck with that! I am a part time student part time waitress myself (even though at the moment, I'm more of a waitress I have to say), and I try to play a bit of music on my free time (I'm gonna play the first song I've ever written at an open mic on sunday, I'm a bit nervous about that, but I'm also really looking forward! Fingers crossed). Are you on facebook btw? And I've lived inGalway since september, I reckon I'll stay here for a few months, and then I don't really know. I applied to be a French teaching assistant in the UK (NI is my 1st choice) from September on, so let's hope I'll go through that, and if it doesn't work, I might stay here longer, I have no idea yet... And I have a very important question : why do you not listen to more Mr Bungle? (it doesn't make any sense to me, but it's also true that even though they're my favourite band, they're not my most listened on last.fm, so it's not that reliable)

Galway is great all right, but if you live that close to DUblin, I can understand why you don"t go there more often. I mean, living in Galway is great, because I don't like too big cities, but I think entertainment is still better in Dublin. And yes, Electric 6 are great, I like the way they don"t take themselves too seriously, and are able to make great music and to be funny and meaningful at the same time. For the moment, I've only listened to a few songs from your profile, but I loved them all, so thanks! Oh and what do you do in Drogheda? (if you don't mind me asking?)

Oh, Drogheda! I was talking about the city yesterday. I used to live in Julianstown for a little while , Drogheda is a nice city, I like it! And it's so close to Dublin, it's really convenient. I'm in Galway now, which is my favourite city n the Republic so far, I find it quite perfect for me, and for a city that small, it has great music venues and stuff, have you been there much? Ah, I'm glad to see we'll both be discovering the man live, I think it's gonna be quite impressive! And I've only seen Electric Six (a few times) at the Academy [yes, if you've checked my profile, you've probably noticed that I'm quite a fan of Electric Six... ahem...] And I have the feeling I'm gonna discover many great stuff from your page! So thanks in advance =)

Oh, whereabout do you live then? I used to live in Co. Meath, are you near there by any chance? And yes, I'm really looking forward to it, I've never seen the man live, have you? I love the room though, I think the Academy is brilliant.

Indeed. Nothing screams weird industrial metal like a space bound crying baby.

ok, if you want it more profound and progressive then go for Flood or Absolutego or even Feedbacker. That are their one-long-song-albums.

eh, I don't get your first sentence... "all of them"? but you still want to discover the rest of their discography? well, just wanted to give you a few recommendations, that's all! well, if you liked Heavy Rocks (2011) then it would probably the best to go on with Heavy Rocks from 2002. and after that you should try Pink, which has wide variety of styles but still is kind of easy access. but make sure to get the Southern Lord vinyl version! it's the one that starts with "pink", ends with "Just Abandoned Myself" and has longer versions of "My Machine" and "Farewell" and so on... give it a try! =)
