Hi- my band Bike Thief (bikethief.bandcamp.com) is in the middle of a kickstarter right now to fund our debut full length, and we're still a long way from our goal. ANYTHING helps- we appreciate whatever you can give, even if its just a simple share of this link. Thanks!!!! http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/bikethief/bike-thiefs-debut-album-blessed-are-the-sleepy-one

I'm only a server at a restaurant, but I guess I love it because I enjoy multitasking, being constantly busy at work, and generally making people happy. Plus, the money! But not everyone can tolerate serving (and not everyone can do it either I've learned). Just depends person to person, but personally I enjoy it. =) Yeah...I think once you get the travel bug, it stays. Yes, I live in California.

Haha, yea I think I saw that last week. Life on the Hill is good! I didn't go to the block party, I skipped town for multiple reasons (one being I live right by Cal Anderson and didn't want to deal with the crowds haha). Other than that ... Not sure! Looking forward to dB though, have a friend coming in from out of town who used to live here and go all the time, so should be fun times.

Yeah it is a bit of both for me. I feel similar. The travel bug is already back but I don't want to go too far, so I've been thinking of maybe taking a short trip to Canada, but then I know I want to go to Burning Man again, and to do both would be really expensive. Still have a couple months to think about it. =) I'm lovin' my new job. I work enough to make pretty good money, but I still have some free time and a life. It's easy, I enjoy it, and the people all seem pretty good.

I would love to visit anywhere in the Andes Mountains. They look so beautiful.

I have not been to South America. I hear it's a beautiful continent, and I've always wanted to see a tropical rain forest in person. I may try to make it down to Costa Rica or Peru at some point. So many places to go, yet I have so little time and money to dedicate to it! >__<

I've had friends that have been to both Costa Rica and Thailand, and they all had awesome stories. New Zealand is pretty awesome. Spent a few days there years ago. NZ and Australia were both really fun places to visit and I would love to go back. I really want to visit more of Europe. So far I've only seen England and Italy. It would be great to make it to Spain, Germany, or France at some point. Japan is also high on my list for travel ideas. I've always had a fascination with Japanese culture, plus I used to be an anime nerd back in the day haha It's been a while since I've traveled outside the US. I think it's about time to start getting a trip planned.

Om mig

"For small creatures such as we the vastness is bearable only through love."
--Carl Sagan

"One day it will have to be officially admitted that what we have christened reality is an even greater illusion than the world of dreams."
--Salvador Dali

"We are shaped by our thoughts; we become what we think. When the mind is pure, joy follows like a shadow that never leaves."
--Gautama Siddhartha

"To be shaken out of the ruts of ordinary perception, to be shown for a few timeless hours the outer and the inner world, not as they appear to an animal obsessed with survival or to a human being obsessed with words and notions, but as they are apprehended, directly and unconditionally, by Mind at Large- this is an experience of inestimable value... The man who comes back through the Door in the Wall will never be quite the same as the man who went out. He will be wiser but less cocksure, happier but less self-satisfied, humbler in acknowledging his ignorance yet better equipped to understand the relationship of words to things, of systematic reasoning to the unfathomable Mystery which it tries, forever vainly, to comprehend."
--Aldous Huxley

"All a gun does is focus an explosion in one direction. You have a class of young strong men and women, and they want to give their lives to something. Advertising has these people chasing cars and clothes they don't need. Generations have been working in jobs they hate, just so they can buy what they don't really need."
--Chuck Palahniuk
