  • Finally.

    18 feb 2006, 18:08

I finally am able to download the plug-in for my Itunes on my laptop. I was able to pick up my laptop yesterday because it had to be repaired. But in that process, its operating system got upgraded. The only downside is that I have to build up my Library from scratch again. But I have most of the songs on my iPod so thats good. So my lists on here will begin to take shape now. Get ready for a really really random looking list.
  • Marc Broussard

If you ever have the chance to see Marc Broussard live, don't hesitate and just go. Pay however much it is to get in. Whatever the price, it will be worth it. I saw him in November after it had been 2 years, and he definately surpassed the previous. I was never bored at the show, and was constantly dancing. His energy onstage is crazy, and his feet never stop moving. His band is killer also. His guitarist, Gibb Droll, is flippin' amazing. This guy played the guitar with his teeth, and bled all over himself, guitar and stage. That was kind of gross, but I had never seen anyone bleed like that from playing the guitar. and if you don't have his album Carencro, go get it.. i'm not really sure what you are waiting for. also, download a live show if marc isn't coming near you.

Album: Killer Queen - a Tribute to Queen

What else could be better than musicians of today paying tribute to one of the best bands? Ok, don't answer that...I'm sure there is better. But this album is "killer". People that rock the charts today like Gavin DeGraw, Jason Mraz, Joss Stone, and Rooney pay homage to QUEEN.

The stand out tracks for me are:
Josh Kelley "Crazy Little Thing Called Love"
    Constantine "Bohemian Rhapsody"
    Rooney "Death On Two Legs"
    Joss Stone "Under Pressure"

I like how some bands, like Rooney, chose obscure songs and not ones from the Greatest Hits catalog. but it annoys me that the Flaming Lips chose to do "Bohemian Rhapsody" also...there's so many great songs to chose from.

I think Freddie would be proud.
