This morning, I just heard the entire version of the song (rather than just a 30 second snippet) for the first time in years upon years. I owned the "Shout!" cassette soon after it came out, but no longer have it. This is one of the better songs on the album, juxtaposing a primarily synth sound with a guitar solo, and juxtaposing Devo lyrics with Dove (the band of love) music.

I couldn't get the Blondie song "Atomic" out of my head this evening, so I ended up searching YouTube and other sources for remakes and remixes. The Party Animals version was mentioned in Wikipedia, so I sought it on YouTube and liked it. For the record, this is only the second gabber song that I've enjoyed (the first being "Invasion of the Gabber Robots").

So I was listening to the radio station of my Twitter buddy @shawnz, and the Chris Garneau song "Relief" came up. If you're in the mood for very nice, mellow, songs, please be advised that this is a very nice, mellow song. And then, toward, the end, it slows down and gets even mellower…and nicer. Not reommended for long-haul truck drivers.
