    Yes, that's my dog when he was a puppy. :) He's a little over 1 now. I had to stop fantasy sports, they took too much away from watching games to look for my guys scoring. Good time to like bay area sports ... did you used to live here?

    I have a couple of teams too: Cardinals (boyhood team), Giants (bay area now). Nice to see the Giants supported from the Netherlands! :) Don't worry, Cain will heat up in May/June. Oh and nice charts. :P

    Wow, I totally overlooked this shout! Seeing tMG in the US was (unsurprisingly) beyond awesome. Now that I'm back in Europe, they're obviously playing in South Florida (which they never managed to when I was there). Oh well, hoping for a European tour :) You seen any good gigs?

While Zito seems more unpredictable, you should take into consideration if he's pitching at home, which favors pitchers or in a small yard like Milwaukee. Both those guys are fly ball pitchers and take advantage of the fact that HRs go to die in San Fran. This is why Zito's performance in Cincinnati was so shockingly amazing in the playoffs last year. Couldn't believe he could shut down such a potent lineup at such a hitter's park.

    He, he...sorry about that. I should have consulted you before you picked your teams, but I'm not a fantasy league player, so I'm not exactly sure how it works. Cain's the type of pitcher who will lead the league in innings pitched, but probably will never win more than 15 games in a season. Following the team closely I knew all along that Bum's gonna have a breakout year...he was the guy to have statistically, sorry:-o

    Yes, I've been impressed with our starting pitching this year, a shame they can't get equal peformances from the pen or run support. And I understand what you feel about MLB teams and rivalries, I'm generally the same way with soccer, I'll dislike a few teams because they are club rivals but I don't feel the actual passion or hatred that seems to run through those fans in geographic proximity.

    He's the only bright spot in our dark season. I used to be really critical of him when he came out of the bullpen but he's been proving himself to be a #1 starter this year. A shame he's going to get such terrible run support.
