    Hey! Sorry, I'm ridiculously slack in replying! I'm glad you enjoyed Boris. As for Melt-Banana, yeah, definitely check them out. I've only got the one album (Scratch or Stitch), but it's great. If you want stuff more in that vein check out Lightning Bolt- i.e- actual 'songs' yet still noisy- ! Perhaps that's kinda what you meant when you asked for noise. Pity you can't make ATP, not sure if I'll be there myself either, but really hope so. All the best anyway.

    As far as live stuff goes in Melb, there seems to be something worthwhile on most nights. So now that the ATP lineup is out, what do you think? I'm a little embarrassed to admit, that aside from The Bad Seeds, the only other bands on that lineup I know are The Saints and Afrirampo... I must check out the rest sometime. Noise recs are hard! What have you heard so far that you liked? As far as "noise" goes, Merzbow should be checked out, and I'm also quite partial to some Daniel Menche (a little less harsher than Merzbow, perhaps). If you wanted a kind of more "noise rock" direction- I'd say check out earlier Boredoms (albums like Chocolate Synthesizer)... Sorry, I'm kinda vague at the moment, consumed by uni work! Check out Boris too, my fav! (Check out the At Last -Feedbacker-, or if you're patient Flood)

    Haha, I don't know how many other nicknames he has from quizilla, but 'Bubble-T' sometimes just isn't that interesting.As for my tracks, I do listen to music literally always except when I'm using my ears for another type of media or at school. since all my music is on my computer - which is always connected to the net when turned on, in a sense I guess I'm always online? Then there's the iPod, which tracks get scrobbled when I update it. Haha, I probably listen to a bit too much music, my ears will probably go by the time I get to 40 too.

    Hey! Very excited about the Cure - we are contemplating dressing in black and applying lipstick with our left hands (we're right-handed), haha. Thanks for the Patrick Wolf recommendation - I've only ever heard Wind in the Wires, so I'll have to keep an eye out for more of his stuff. If you like that sort of thing then you should check out Beirut. Must go - convention costumes need to be finished!
