Thank you very much for those - I followed the hints andI got so caught up with The Paper Cuts I had to download two of their albums *immediately* and the same with The Crayon Fields. I haven't tried the other things yet, still letting the first ones sink in...Brilliant suggestions :) (Oh, and Happy Christmas, if you celebrate it. I've lost track of the dates & need to buy presents - that's why I'm doing this instead :) )

Hello again. Well, after my highly opinionated assassination of 'I wonder who we are', (whoops, apologies...) somehow, I just *had* to buy 'Bonfires On The Heath', imported from the US at great expense, weirdly. Still giving it some thought. I don't know what you think? Have you got anything fabulous to reccomend, because I seem to be wading thro' things that sound exactly the same as things I love already, if you see what I mean? :)

finally someone who agrees - it started to feel a bit absurd raving about them to anyone who will listen but no one really caring. if you're interested it's really worth sending them a message via myspace of their blog to see if they have copies of some of their older releases - although if not i can easilly send you mp3s

More melancholy than say Vivian Girls (they're touring together). I guess I'd better check out some Vivian Girls! Yes, I love Cocoanut Groove. Found about them through the Eardrums comps (along with Crayon Fields). His comps come complete with pdf liner notes, etc. All nicely done.
