On April 13th 2013, the North of The Wall Festival – a one day festival celebrating Scottish metal - descended on Scotland to wreck havoc on Glasgow. Headlined NWOBHM band Holocaust and with performances from blood metallers Achren, black metallers Maelstrom, doom metallers Headless Kross and folk/black metal band Norderobring, among others, it was always going to be brutal. MetalRecusants’ Stuart Cole was there to capture the action as it unfolded.
