I'm completely drowning in wonderful, beautiful and cool guitar riffs! Thurston Moore and Lee Ranaldo from Sonic Youth are definitely two of my favourite guitarists! They are a big influence when I write my music.

Excellent examples are:
Teen Age Riot, Dirty Boots, Sunday, Sugar Kane, Purr, Incinerate and last but not least the masterpiece Pink Stream! Well, the list goes on and on!

It seems like Elliott Smith covered one of the most beautiful ballads, Big Star's Thirteen, before he ended his life. It's a very beautiful and tender version. You can hear the song on the new "odd songs collection" New Moon. Lovely.
