Since I did this a little while after I first became a member, I'd like to see how I've changed since then :) And I'm bored, even though I should get working on two papers...but I always procrastinate. SO!

    1. What's your favorite song by 15?
    Paloma Faith
    Romance Is Dead

    2. How did you get into 20?
    Kate Nash
On iTunes she was suggested to me after listening to Lily Allen and Regina Spektor.

    4. Whats your favorite lyric bit by 29?
    Paramore
"And it's obvious that you're dying, dying.
Just living proof that the camera's lying.
And oh oh open wide, 'cause this is your night.
So smile, 'cause you'll go out in style.
    You'll go out in style."
    Fences

    5. Have you ever seen 22 live?
    Lily Allen
Sadly, no. I bet she puts on a fun show, though.

    6. What's your favorite album from 10?
    Sara Bareilles
    Kaleidoscope Heart

    7. Do you own any merchandise from 3?
    Emilie Autumn
Yes, five shirts (2 I can't even fit in to, but hey I'm losing weight so perhaps I will!), her wonderful book, an autograph (does that count?). And of course several copies of her CDs.

    8. What is a good memory you have of 7?
The Fratellis? Just driving along singing along to their music at full blast and getting crazy looks.

    9. Is there a member of the same age as you in 2?

    14. Which song do you not like by 18?

    TAT
When I downloaded the free Warped Tour playlist Danii gave me in the summer of 2009. Totally fell in love with them while over in the Bahamas, but I couldn't get the whole soundtrack because I would have faced huge data fees...even though it totally would have been worth it.

    Janis Joplin
Another singer I grew up listening to because of my mom <333

    VV Brown
Hmmm, even her sadder songs can make me happy. I guess [track artist=VV Brown]Shark in the Water

  • Music Survey

    30 mar 2009, 22:10

Put your music player, whatever it is, on random or shuffled play.
Answer these questions with the song you get when you hit the skip button!
Note: some songs will make sense, others won't. Don't Cheat!

Which song describes the mood you are in right now?
When I Get Home - The Beatles
    Err, not really.

Which song describes the mood you are usually in?
What Is It About Men - Amy Winehouse
    Sort of.

Which song describes one of your favorites things to do?
    Porcelain Doll - Megan McCauley
I don't like being a porcelain doll, I don't look like one, I don't play with them. xD

Which song describes something else you like to do?
A Little Heart - Little Man Tate
These songs describe nothing I like to do xD

Which song explains the way you think about love?
Don't Let Me Down - Idina Menzel
Yes, I guess that's how I think about love.

What would you sing to your soulmate right now?
Give Up The Ghost - The Remus Lupins
I would hope I wouldn't, since this is directed at Death Eaters in HP ._.
Has anyone noticed that Death Eaters are sort of like Ku Klux Klan members? What with their pure blood smugness and outfits that look suspiciously like KKK outfits...I'm probably a little late on the notice, though.

    Which song best represents you?
Radio Song - Dirty Pretty Things
Yes, I am especially like Dennis in the movie Run, Fat Boy, Run when this is played (running away from his marriage because he thought he would ruin Libby's life, that'd be something I would do for that exact reason).

Which song describes your sexual preference?
Make You Feel My Love - Adele
I guess I just love everyone, because this song is so vague to sexual preferences.

Which song describes what would occur between you and a prostitute/manwhore?
Love Like This - Natasha Bedingfield
    That is disturbing ._.

Which song describes your lover on the side?
Under The Sea - Samuel E. Wright
    That's slightly weird.

How about your wife or husband?
    100% - Angelspit
Probably would, somehow, which is just disturbing.

Which song would be played at your wedding?
    Walking on Air - Kerli
    That's somehow fitting...

Which song would be played at your wedding reception?
Soon We'll Be Found - Sia
    Wow. This one actually fits!

Which song describes yourself in the future?
    Get Back - The Beatles
This kind of makes sense, too.

Which song describes yourself in the past?
I'll Be True to You - The Monkees
    Not really...

Which song would be appropriate for a one night stand?
From Me to You - The Beatles
I guess this would be okay for a one night stand xD

Which song would best describe your first time kissing?
    Octopus's Garden - The Beatles
I haven't kissed, so I wouldn't know, but it boggles my mind how this song could describe it xD
I seriously had to laugh at this one.

Which song would best describe your first time having sex?
    Destroy She Said - Circ
I haven't had sex, so I wouldn't know, either, but this seems like an oddly fitting song.

Which song would best describe your fashion sense?
    Chelsea Dagger - The Fratellis
Sort of, I mean the way the song sounds I guess would sound like my fashion sense (I have no idea how to explain that, but I have no fashion sense I just go with what I like) xD

Which song would describe your taste in the opposite or same sex?
My Freeze Ray - Neil Patrick Harris
Yes, so true, I pick the ones I can't talk to...but unlike Dr. Horrible, mine are fictional characters that I actually can't talk to and if I could that would mean I should be put into a mental institution xD

Which song best describes your parents?
Master Of The House - Les Misérables Original Broadway Cast
Yes, so true for my dad! And especially when Mme. Thernadier says all that about her husband, that is so what my mom would say. I'm surprised it came up with a song that actually fits this well.

Which song best describes your family in general?
Legal Assassin - Anthony Stewart Head
Yes, this somehow describes mi familia.

Which song best describes your friends?
    Bohemian Rhapsody - Emilie Autumn
    Sure, why not?

Which song best describes your school?
To Know Him Is to Love Him - Amy Winehouse
So. Not. True. If you knew my school you would hate it, as well.

Which song best describes your public personality?
The Llama Song - Burton Earny
SO TRUE. I am veryveryvery random.

Which song best describes your private personality?
Whompy Stole My Pillow - Justin Finch-Fletchley and the Sugar Quills
Just as random as my public personality ;D

  • Ultimate Disney Makes Me Happy!

    6 okt 2008, 23:02

I've been looking for the original Everybody Wants to be a Cat, Cruella De Vil, and basically any other Disney classic that doesn't have an original on iTunes. As Selena Gomez's version of Cruella de Vil is just horrible, and I couldn't find even a cover of the best Disney song EVUR: Everybody Wants to be a Cat. Thankfully, I "stole" my friends iPod and found she had Ultimate Disney on it, which has the originals of the songs =D
She let me borrow the CD today, and I am as happy as I was when I first saw the classic Disney movies! These classic songs are what keep the good Disney somewhat alive in everyone that has grown up with such classics as The Aristocats, 101 Dalmations, Snow White, Lady and the Tramp, Lion King, The Little Mermaid, and so much more. The current Disney pop-tart stars can ruin these songs all they want, as long as I have these originals and am not forced to listen to the horrible covers that ruin the original style and overall meaning of the song, I'll be quite okay. Although, it just makes said Disney stars look even worse when compared to the original artists. I would hate to hear a cover version of One Jump Ahead from Aladdin, unless they already made one...because it takes a true actor to make this song work, using only his voice! Anyway, rant aside, I lovelovelove this album, it reminds of my childhood, even if I am only a teenager, we lose the simple innocence of wonder as we grow up. I get what I mean by that last sentence, although I wasn't exactly clear, I don't feel I need to devote several more sentences to explain that. If you grasp what I mean by that cryptic message, good for you, but if you didn't, it wasn't anything too profound, so if you don't understand my rambling, you are not alone =D
Tiki, Tiki, Tiki Room is totally a reminder of me being a kid and going to the Tiki Room about a gazillion times IN A ROW at Disneyworld. You can bet my mom loved that! xD
  • Super Eclectic Score

    15 sep 2008, 03:02

Take your top 50 artists. For each of these artists, collect the top 20 similar artists (where the artist itself is the #1 most similar). The resulting number of unique artists is your super-eclectic score. You can compute your own score at http://anthony.liekens.net/pub/scripts/last.fm/supereclectic.php

    My super-eclectic score is currently

    593/1000

The most similar artists for my profile are Kate Nash (8), Natasha Bedingfield (8), Leona Lewis (8), Joss Stone (7), Original Cast (6), Duffy (6), Spring Awakening (6), Amy Winehouse (6), Company (6), Adele (6)

The only thing most of my similar artists have in common is that they are female British artists xD
A few are pop artists, a few are more soul/r&b artists.

  • Finally Finds Scrobbles on my iPod!

    26 aug 2008, 22:50

I just wanted to thank whoever fixed the iPod scrobble detector, after the software update, 91 scrobbles were found on my iPod!

I am so in love with the song Once Upon A Time and I am loving all the Beatles albums (well, I love all the new music I have), but I am so happy to have an actual Strawberry Fields Forever, instead of the song off of the Love album.

I'm super OCD, so it took me all night to get all the album art and the info right...heh! I can't help it, I love seeing the album covers on my iPod touch.

I only have 46 songs by Idina =/
Oh crap, I need to update See What I Wanna See. And all my other cast recordings are starting to bother me because it just says "Original Cast" or something like that ><
