The Soundscapers' Voice, Issue #10

Greetings, fellow Soundscapers and (potential) listeners.

Who's new?

Three new members have been approved.

- Merankorii (Last FM user Mind_Booster)
Merankorii was born in the beginning of 2004 in Coimbra, Portugal as a side project of Mind Booster Noori, a tentative form of cultural art with a melancholic and depressive touch of a reality injection to a body who had no more hope of living.

- Aquanodd (Last FM user aquanodd)
Aquanodd is the project of New York based artist and producer. His latest full length album Dreamer of Dreams is a testimony of his journey.

- Crassus (Last FM user mattyboy100)
We don’t have a description for this artist yet, care to help?

What's new?

- A Bleeding Star gave us another present on March 13rd, at 3:00 AM: Dark Offering XI - 353 Parasomatic Daydreams & 329 Sleepsickening Nights. It involves the session artist DotRose (a.k.a. Simon Persson) as a dark folk violinist.

- Unmorph has released a new album called One Point.
Featuring 16 tracks and running at 51:14, the album features improved composition, better-defined genres for the tracks, a deeper, more powerful overall sound while still maintaining the signature sound of previous tracks.
All the tracks can be listened to/downloaded for free here.

- Ksandr Project has released some live material in collaboration with I.M.M.U.R.E..
Their Last FM page is ksandr and I.M.M.U.R.E.. Two videos of their performance are available for streaming.

- Doc & Lena Selyanina unveiled a new album.
The Art of Ambience is a special Last.fm-targeted Musictrade release containing three longer ambient tracks earlier released as singles by Doc & Lena Selyanina. The idea is to bring the singles directly available to Last.fm users; similar special single compilations are to be expected at least from KraftiM, Softspace and Doc.
More information can be found in this journal entry.

Today's question is do you tweet?

I've recently started to spend a lot of time on Twitter. Twitter is a microblogging service meant to share very short messages with anyone, a dead simple yet very versatile mix of actual blogging, chat room and live search engine. It may seem pretty useless at first, but once you start using Twitter clients like DestroyTwitter or TweetDeck, a whole new world of real-time networking emerges. I've found a bunch of skilled artists here, and lots of useful links.
If you want to give it a try (or if you're already using it) I can be found at http://twitter.com/lectronice.

See you next time!
