    I mean, for pity's sake, some muppet has even tagged the Eels as "singer-songwriter". I mean, if you're going to say that, simply on the basis that they are a "band" that is in fact just an ever-varying line-up of musicians assembled and disassembled by the lead singer seemingly at random, then you end up with *The Fall* counting as a singer-songwriter. Let's just say I' don't want to be the one who tells that to Mark E Smith...

    Look, about the singer-songwriter thing. It seems that what last.fm means by that is Rufus Wainwright, Neko Case, Leonard Cohen and so on. Unfortunately the net result is to make me sound like a Tori Amos fan. :-(

    Our musical compatibility rating is "Very Low", apparently. Must be all that jazz you listen to. :-) Though it seems we do "share some artists in common", including Johann Sebastian Bach, The Fall, The Smiths and The New Stenographers. So, erm, that would actually be quite a lot of overlap then...?
