My name is Brian and I am 32 years old. I discovered my favorite genre of music, Jazz, purely by discovery. One night I was looking for something new on the radio and found a station that played traditional jazz on weeknights. Ever since then, jazz has been my favorite genre of music.

I of course, have other music interests, most of which are from the different types of music I was exposed to growing up. Being a child of the eighties, I quickly formed a list of my favorites, a list which includes some of the greatest artists of not only the eighties, but also the seventies, sixties, and fifties.

Some of my other favorite artists are Pat Benetar, Steve Miller Band, Chicago, The Police, Aretha Franklin, John Mellencamp, and many others which can be seen by viewing my music interest pages.

I don't have much else to say about myself. I may update my profile with more information one day, but for the time being, you can get a feel of what music moves me. As I listen here at last.fm, I hope to discover not only new songs that I may like, but also, some of my favorites that I haven't heard in years.
