I'm not normally a lyric type of person. I much prefer to listen to the music. However, there are occasions when I listen to words and think 'Wow', either because the lyrics mean something to me, are so true, or just purely inspired. These are a few of those moments. I've created a list of inspired studio albums released in 1973 designed to confirm my belief that that year was, as the title of the journal suggests, the best year for music.
