Listening to Polyrock feels nostalgic. It reminds me of being a suburban teenager and ordering music out of catalogs. Maybe it was youthful idealism that caused me to pay cash for bands I hadn't heard of. Or maybe I just liked getting mail.
Anyway, I was getting catalogs like Wax Trax! and Projekt (and whatever happened to Burning Airlines?) and I discovered Polyrock on ROIR. I liked ROIR's commitment to cassettes, but unfortunately in order to stay afloat they had to go digital.
