    he sure does, i'd make the pilgramige to leeds, but london is out of my league. it's really frustrating. pain of salvation are great (imo) they have so many different styles, earlier stuff they did is much more metal like to there later stuff such as road salt one and two which took a completeley different direction. try those two albums first maybe. they are quite experimental, but i really like that about them....and to be honest there heavier stuff isn't as heavy as perhaps the name of the band would suggest it to be. check them out. :)

    to be honest that annoyed me. he's doing lots of gigs in other countries and just one venue in the UK. I can't afford to travel and stay in London, hence i can't go and see him live.....not to happy really. sometimes i think SW takes the piss out of the fans a bit. but yeh the new album is great, trouble is there are so many great new albums to listen to, i don't know which to listen to. and definitely check out the rest of Heritage, it's a grower for sure.

    hey, have you listened to Heritage yet? also i see you've been playing GfD. what do you think? i really like it, on first listen i was unconvinced but it's grown on me, as has Heritage. some really great albums out this month, been a bit of a treat for the proggers!

    definitley damnation like. it's very proggy which is why the metal heads are all up in arms saying it's 'gay'. i think it's got some great tracks on there, but for some reason it doesn't hold me attention as fully as i'd like. i'm going to keep listening, but it just doesn't have the stand out tracks like damnation has, in my view anyway. you'll have to get hold of a copy and let me know what you think. it leaked a while back, i think the release date maybe today though? i really like the new DT album. breaking all illusions and this is the life i think are highlights along with on the back of angels...which i saw them perform live at high voltage this summer, they were really good. definitley an all round good album for me.

    yea i heard about that. that's a real shame. I've listened to more than my last fm suggests. i used to listen to them more in about 08-09. must get back into them, although maybe it's a little late now :( i think my favourite of riversides is out of myself. love the track 'in two minds'. you'll have to keep in touch and let me know if you're going to see them :)
