what isn't reflected on this site is what gets played on my ipod, so…

i've decided to make a playlist at the start of each month, for my spod, of songs to listen to a lot in that month. mainly songs that i'm either loving or have been thinking about recently and want to hear lots, or that i don't know well or haven't heard yet but want to get to know. i have so much music i hardly ever know what to choose spontaneously so now i can just stick on a playlist and enjoy. then after a month, i'll make a completely fresh list. here's my first one, for april 2006. might have got a bit carried away, i'd say they'll probably be about 20 tracks on subsequent lists.
