    Oh man, that's an awesome story! They're no longer together, are they?–I've been meaning to pick up You Forgot It in People and get into them but something else always catches my eye and I keep putting it off, sadly. And I've been looking into Grinnell College, it's not terribly far, fairly elite but my guidance counselor and teachers seem to think I should get in fine. I didn't even realize it until recently, but it turns out they have a whole concert series thing there and past musicians over the years have included everyone from Bon Iver and Deerhoof to the Mountain Goats and Lightning Bolt. Indie musicians (well, anyone who's not a country singer or a reunited 80's band, really!) generally don't touch Iowa with a ten-foot pole so that all just sounds WAY too good to be true to me, lol.

    Hahah, I'd love to get even, but sadly I live in the middle of nowhere in a flyover state so no big artists ever want to trek all the way out here. Hopefully I'll be able to catch some when I head off to college. If you don't mind my asking, how exactly did you manage to catch Broken Social Scene two and a HALF times anyways, hahah?

    Awwh ace:) I paid to see Beirut but didn't get to see them:( paid £50 to see Mumford and Sons, Beirut, the Vaccines and Arcade Fire in London but we had to miss Beirut and The Vaccines because we couldn't afford to get there in time:( I was gutted! I can image them being really good live! I haven't seen that many bands life.. Just Manchester Orchestra, Brand New and Arcade Fire and they were all really good! I saw The Holloways live once and they wasn't very good...

    I've to confess that sailing around the Mediterranean is a bit exotic to me as well, I'm from northern Italy, so no light blue beautiful sea here :D But the song really fits my country's atmosphere and it's very summerish, now it's the perfect time to listen to it. The official video is wonderful, too even if I think that those images are from California :D
