and about those user's shoutboxes (as well as yours) - i wasn't the first to say something on some user's page. that were you, the mighty mighty burial crowd. i was just responding. and again, a 19-year-old girl was the second most civil of you.

well, to me trying this hard to "calm someone down" about something is not a dime healthier. and there are already three burial listeners who poke in my shoutbox with their sentiments. it must be burial's music affect. if i like someone's music enough and read something in his\her\theirs shoutbox, i hardly care so much. i know what i know, but if someone says that someone's music is very influenced by *insert name here*, i feel some interest. i try to figure out what a person saying that means/knows. but you quickly try to shelter your beloved producer as if he gives any care to my shouts or to your striving to protect his music. and there's only one 17-yr-old (shame on all of you) guy who listened the track i mentioned. maybe it's burial's music makes you all so butthurt-sensitive? i can't help feeling that his music is similar to that autechre track. that's it. and i'll hardly change my mind. it's the track which made me realise how overhyped burial's music is.

By the way ... my love for high capacity power lines and suspension bridges is almost as big as my love for cranes

It depends on the artist and tunes in question. I have been known to listen to the same tune for days on end sometime. For example Moritz von Oswald's Watamu Beach rework, or Atheus inChainFX. Those are just two examples of tunes I have listened to ad infinitum. There have probably been others too.

Yea I'm quite a big fan of pretty much everything Hecq has done, just gotten even more into him the last couple of months. The "bad" late-to-the-party dubstep album is in fact some of the better dubstep of that kind, athough such music isn't really on top of my list of interests anymore. I can however see how it "upset" a lot of people who were into his earlier stuff, it's defo not for them. I think it helped get his name out more though, so that's all good for him. Not sure what he's up to right now, but I believe the more Ambient related music he produces is going to go under "Ben Lukas Boysen" and not Hecq anymore. I really hope he does more stuff like the album Steeltongued. Or 0000. Or Scatterheart.. or or.. :p

Read a few of your comments, you seem to have your head screwed on at least. I guess since you've been here since '05 I don't have to say this, but unless you want to lose your sanity, stay out of them shout boxes ;) Peace. Sweet charts too!
