    it's funny because i thought it would be easier to explain... but it's not! break down, Prince goes to a restaurant because he was feeling down "fighting with lovers past" (fighting with his girlfriend) he meets Dorothy who comes on to him, asks him if he wants to take a bubble bath but he leaves his pants on because he's "kinda going with someone" << the same one he's fighting with. him and Dorothy talk but don't have sex. Than later he says he took another bubble bath with his pants on and all the fighting stopped. meaning he talks to his girlfriend and doesn't just have sex with her... meaning that was what was lacking in their relationship... communication! make sense?
