I like many musical styles. I simply love rock and roll, even though I don't listen to it as much as I used to. I also listen to artists labeled as folk or pop. I have recently started listening to classical music, operas and choirs. There are some artists that are labeled as "world music" (whatever that means) that I really appreciate. There are some aspects of eastern music that really please me. I truly enjoy blues and jazz. I think electronic is like seasoning: it tastes good as long as you don't exaggerate. As for brazilian music, I enjoy most of it, especially bossa nova, samba, chorinho, some of the northeastern tunes, some of the southern ones, and some of our pop-rock bands. I am always looking for talented brazilian artists who have a good intuition for mixig our musical traditions with other music genres, or simply adding to or mixing our tradition. I am also always looking for new talented musicians who create music I can enjoy.
