Jacek Kaczmarski... Kudos to you, man ;) Do you understand all the lyrics? I'm so in love with his music. You're intriguing :) Maybe you should also try Przemysław Gintrowski

Hey man, thanx 4 the comment in the Ext.Mus.Taste Forum! I agree, I could do more classical then I did so far. Hip-hop (especially from 90's till now) is not a favo, oldschool hip-hop I like better. Blof is nice, I don't call them "cheesy" :) Like your diverse taste too!

Whoa, mea culpa! Some dark force must've blinded me when I was lurking in your library :D I don't know why I didn't notice Howlin and the others ;p With that I can surely give you 10/10! <ok>/ You in France have great musicians too, be proud of them :)

Yeah, some people don`t know how to tag :( I mean, Phillipe can be tagged as "Katerine" or "Phillipe Katherine", and that chick should be tagged with her first and last name, but still.. I don`t want to have her in my library. :)

Why such a thing should happen?

wow, I think it surprised me even more ;D it's not unusual to understand a bit of French, but Kaczmarski is sometimes diffucult to fully comprehend even if you know Polish or read the translation - the cultural/historical context is very important. But he's not only a great poet, but also a great musician, so there are many reasons to love him ;)

He definitely does! But not just fans. He recently did a wonderful collaboration with Swedish group Testbild! under the name The Ocean Tango. You can hear it at oceantango.bandcamp.com

well, the Hungarian part is not so mysterious. I'm actually an American, but I work in Hungary. as for M. Auclair I discovered him in 1998 from two tracks on a sampler CD called All Done WIth Mirrors, released by an indie label called Le Grand Magistery. at the time it was still not that easy to find his CDs in the US, so it wasn't until I was living in London in 1999 that I really became a huge fan.

Yes It's a shame, because he really makes amazing music. Even though I can't understand what he is singing, I like the rhythm and flow of his music. And they are very catchy. And I know what some texts are about. Like Pan Kmicic and Pan Podbipieta, because I have read the books. Nice to talk to someone else who like him, I don't know anybody who ever heard about him. He should be more famous.

Om mig

I wander through the virtually infinite universe of sound using every path and device I can think about. I can listen to everything as long as I find it rewarding or entertaining. I actually listen to a very broad variety of genres, from fado and classical to metal and noise. I tend to prefer short tracks. In fact, Wire's Pink Flag may epitomize what I like most.

Don't hesitate to leave some messages in my box, I'll be very glad to read them. If you want to know some personal information about me, see my professional webpage : http://people.math.jussieu.fr/~pierre. See you !

Why the fuck is OMR not working anymore ???
