Just Amazing. End of. And totally different from anything he's ever done before. This song was such a good summer record.
9. Poker Face - Lady Gaga
Undoubtedly one of the best songs of the decade, but it suffered from being overplayed. Still, one of the most danceable songs of the year, and lyrically hilarious, the world is a better place now the phrase "bluffin with my muffin" is in existance.
8. About A Girl - Sugababes
The first track from Sugababes 4.0 and it was a stormer. Again, another RedOne production, and the vocals from new member Jade sound incredible, so much better than the Keisha version.
7. The Fear - Lily Allen
A proper era-defining artist, the first single from her amazing album It's Not Me, It's You was a well deserved UK #1, and possibly the best thing she's ever come out with.
6. Song Away - Hockey
I like this song so much probably because of the amazing summer memories it brings, but it really is, in my opinion, the best of the 80s influenced songs that have been floating around this year. One play and I'm in a good mood.
5. Remedy - Little Boots
RedOne does it again! Dancing is my remedy, remedy, remedy!
4. Flashback - Calvin Harris
Not only one of the most entertaining tweeters, but also an incredible artist. The most underrated single of the year, it just hits all the right notes.
3. Jump In The Pool - Friendly Fires
It just has that extra something that makes it amazing, and the lyrics are really nice too.
2. The Show - Lenka
Summer personified. With amazingly sweet and adorable vocals. I LOVE THIS :)
