On Sunday I am playing my first open mic night at the Square Chapel Arts Centre, I'm very excited. I have fifteen minutes starting at nine-forty so I think the lineup will be as follows:
- Force My Mind (Original)
-Suicide Policeman (Cover, originally by Yuck)
- Hibernate (Original)
- Cemetry Gates (Cover, originally by The Smiths)
- Seeking Solice (Original)
Even though I've played a lot of shows before I'm still quite nervous, but I've been told that I need to stop trying to hide my voice in the sound of my guitar so I'm going to do my best to stop playing too harshly and project my voice. I have loads of worries: what if I'm out of tune? If they boo me off the stage? If I get too chatty or shy? Hopefully I'll go down well with the regular 'Square Up' goers... Wish me luck!
