last week was kind of extreme for me, because I’ve hosted two radio shows. :D
But it’s fun getting to know the new studio.

> Pixies : I’ve tried their latest album “Indie Cindy” - and yes, I like it a lot.
> Thirteen Senses : new album alert. “A Strange Encounter” should be out everywhere now - at least in a digital form. Only 30 minutes long and with even less lyrics. Hm, but maybe it will grow on me.
> Mando Diao : new album alert. Oh, and what a treat “Aelita” is. Its retro vibe easily convinced me. If you like 1980s music, try this.
> Lily Allen : new album alert. I haven’t heard all of “Sheezus” so far, but the bits I’ve listened to were sort of hit and miss.
> Roxette : flash back time with their 1990s album “Crash! Boom! Bang!” - oh, those were the days. :D

Most played artists:
> Hard-Fi : I’ve made it through the band’s first greatest hits album. And I think it’s fun to hear the tunes and vocals evolving along the ride. :P But still, I’m basically a fan of their “Killer Sounds” era.
> Paolo Nutini : new album alert. “Caustic Love” is a good record. But I still feel the need to listen to it a bit more.
> Damon Albarn : new album alert. And tbh I was disappointed by all the mellow songs.

> Humble Neighborhoods : If I have the chance to be DJ at a party once again, I really might play this track.
> I See Fire (Kygo Remix) : It might not be an official remix, but it is the best remix I’ve heard this year. The melody is haunting. ;)
News?
> I’ve heard that Take That are recording again, but without Robbie.
> Somewhere out there is a “Happy” version by Cee Lo Green, because he was supposed to sing that song, before Pharrell was asked.
> Coldplay did a song with Avicii - “A Sky Full Of Stars” is quite catchy. The band also performed it on SNL last weekend.
> The new Michael Jackson single “Love Never Felt So Good” features vocals that were recorded in 1983 - and the production feels kind of odd. Even a version featuring Justin Timberlake can’t help it.
New in the German charts:
Budapest : What? Where did this artist come from? Oh, another British singer-songwriter like Jake Bugg? Well, I don’t mind, because George Ezra has a great voice. The video is nice, too.
c : Wow. The video is very good. And I probably don’t have to mention that I like their new music.
King : Hm, I have to admit that the beats are cool. But the overall message of this track just repeat the usual topics German rappers seem to enjoy talking about - wealth, success, women, revenge… etc.
