I am re-doing mine to look better in inspiration to CarloCestMoi's top 07 list. My original list.

1. What's The Time Mr Wolf?

I love this band, and this album is amazing, it's the debut album for Noisettes. Powerful lyrics and vocals with such indie appeal.

2. Our Love To Admire

I was not so sure I was going to like this album either because their single Heinrich Maneuver, was sort of bland. But this album is AMAZING their best album yet. The lyrics, music and Paul's voice are all orgasmic and beautiful! I was so moved by it I wrote about it, here.

3. Icky Thump

I was not so sure I was going to like this album, but I love it, it's really amazing and very experimental acid rockish, I just wish Meg White sang again on here.

4. Volta

5.American Doll Posse

6. New Maps of Hell

7. Year Zero

I did not know about this album till after it came out, I was surprised they made an album so soon (I guess 3 years is not that recent, but still) I can't believe I forgot this on my first two list. After a while the songs get bland, but it is a very good album still

Disappointing albums:
Is Is- Yes I love Yeah Yeah Yeahs and their new EP - Is Is was on my previous list, but like I said they took amazing songs and made horrible studio versions of them, it makes me mad and sad. It was over prodcued, all the echoing and re-background of Karen O's vocals is not needed and the *whoa* screams does not even sound llike her anymore sorta ditzy sounding- it has no more punk-soul to it.The instumental seemed medicore. Not new material which is why it sucks, because it's amazing old material turned into this. When you compare the two you will see the big difference. . If anyone want to hear the original and live versions. of the songs message me and I will send. Or dl it here
I like the new version of Kiss Kiss better though. Althouh in the live version- I need another beer. Somebody get me another beer! I like

Calling The World- I never was really a fan of Rooney although I loved their song Shakin, and again yes this was on my previous list but I have to be realistic, although an okay album it should not been on the same list with Noisettes and Interpol. The lyrics are boring and silly, but there were some good songs, which include: Calling The World, When Did Your Heart Go Missing, and Tell Me Soon.

Places Like This- All I have to say is too much hype made Architecture In Helsinki think they could fly and make a horrible album like this, I hold my head down. It managed to produce some okay songs: The Same Old Innocence, Nothing's Wrong and Heart it Races

Zeitgeist- Oh how I miss James Iha and D'Arcy, The Smashing Pumpkins are nothing without these two and this album proves it.

When The Deer Wore Blue- I just found out about the Figurines new album, and I was expecting a great album like they made last year- .Skeleton (they even were on my Best Albums of 2006 journal), but this album is really horrible compared to their last two albums. It does have some good songs: Cheap Place To Spend The Night, Let's Head Out, Bee Dee, and the instrumental Unknown Title.

Hope will be good albums:
The Go Team! - Proof of Youth
Grip Like A Vice - I really love this song but I HATE rap and the rapping is not good but when its mixed wit such great music and all it makes it okay although I really wish they would not rap anymore and the other songs on the album don't have rap, and they remake this song without raps

You should really check out the good albums, you won't be sorry!
