http://www.ticketweb.co.uk/user?query=search&category=misc&search=stag%20&%20dagger&region=xxx&beginmonth=05&beginday=13&beginyear=2010 That contains all the artists playing and the times and venues. Pretty handy. I'm sure you would get your £15 worth. Yeah I'll certainly be going to the National and Fever Ray in the future. But for now Wolf Parade! I'm really, really excited. Good luck with your exam, you could buy a ticket at the ticket shop or do it on the internet and just take your card to the door. Or phone. All of these methods work. And, much like Japandroids, they get you into heaven.

Theres loads of great gigs coming up. The obvious one to mention is Stag & Dagger (again) My line up for the night looks like it will be Antlers, Wild Beasts, Titus Andronicus and then Sleigh Bells. Plus a couple of other ones when I have a bit of free time in between or after I imagine. May go and see Joker at 1am and see what all the fuss is about.

What t-shirt did you go for in the end? I really wanted one. I went up like 3 times but I just couldn't find it in me to love one of them enough to pay £20 for one t-shirt. I assumed it was either venue based or some members of the band didn't feel like coming back out. Steve West seemed like he was happy to play for another week. I didn't think Malkmus seemed very comfortable on stage though, maybe I was reading too much into his general awkwardness.

Hey What did you think of Pavement? I couldn't help but be gutted by the way it ended and so I wondering what other people thought of it. As a whole I think it was really good but the set list wasn't really what I was hoping for and the end was down right depressing. Did you have similar thoughts?

I guess I should just list the stuff I got. Though it will become a bit of a mess. I didn't get any of the proper albums like Cribs or Hold Steady. I wanted Hold Steady but there was only 80 throughout the UK. 7" vinyls Blur A Fool's Day 7" (The big deal of the day. First new music in year from the original line up) Jesus and Mary Chain Just Like Honey single and Trip Me Up single. Fucked Up Daytrotter sessions 7" BabyShambles Side Of The Road 7" Foals Spanish Sahara 7" Danger Mouse & Sparklehorse 7" Pavement 'Cut Your Hair' 'Grounded' 7" MOgwai/Fuck Buttons split 10" Crystal Castles 'Doe Deer' 12" Beach House 'Zebra' 4 track EP 12" Hot chip 'I feel Bonnie' 12" (with 3 remixes) So yeah lots of decent stuff but no massively exciting stuff stuff like Hold Steady would have been. My friend got the £70 Arab Strap box thing. It's truly a work of sheer beauty.

I don't like illegally downloading music at all to be honest. I do it if I buy vinyl so I can have it on my Ipod. Assumed you got it from the leak? Quite surprised how much people talked about it being leaked- I kind of assume every album gets leaked these days. Yeah I streamed the LCD effort. Sounds excellent, really really excellent. Makes me even more up for the gig. Trying to get familiar with some of the songs before I see him. Listening to the new HEALTH song in time for seeing them as well. It's excellent. You a fan? You hitting record store day tomorrow? I'm so excited about it!

Yeah that would be cool I would be very interested to know your thoughts. Not sure I will get it right away but I aim to have it in good time for T In The Park. 'You Forgot It...' is a masterpiece.

Is that the new BSS album your listening to? How is it?

I would get vinyl copies of my favourite albums I have cd. I think thats cool to have. You know them so well but you hear things you didn't before when you get them on vinyl. Which is pretty exciting. Yeah, I think I will definitely start trying to go to gigs by myself this year. Pretty lucky to have friends who are really into the same music as me though. For the most part. There is normally always someone willing to come other than the odd blind spot like Foals. Have you heard that band The Cast Of Cheers? Drowned In Sound boards have been getting fairly excited about them and their album is free to download. Reminds me of early Bloc Party but also very very mathy like Foals or Battles. Tip The Can has been stuck in my head for a couple of days now. http://thecastofcheers.bandcamp.com/ Still not sure whether I really like it or if it is just too influenced by those bands and is a bit too close to a rip off for my liking.
