What I don't get is what does it bring to both artists and fans? Is it all about megalomania and the "have a star on my friends list" fetish? I don't think that having, for example, Bloc Party on your friends list will anyhow help you to get down with girls from the local night club. Neither do I think that 2000 people on friends list could ever make any band sound better than they do. Why not promote an artist profile instead?

Looking for some nice cheerful uptempo rave/techno tunes similar to U96's A Night to Remember. Everything that sounds faster and brighter is accepted. Tracks similar to Club Bizzare will do as well, but anything darker than it won't.

I finally checked out some of King Crimson works and I fell in love with them right away. What would you, folks, recommend me as their darkest sombre pieces? An album, a track… Anything. It would be great if it was something of similar mood to Mogwai or 100th Window.

If you like going out to dance on Friday nights, this gig would probably be the best you could get to. If you've missed this one, then shame on you.

The thing is about a great minimal-techno warm-up set by Raumagent Alpha, the driving electro sound of Mediengruppe Telekommander together with their firm "silver suits", and an awesome after-party by 777minus111. Tender Buttons. A very specific record. Nice style, but too much psychedelia. Could do better if they had more pop songs like "Before We Begin".

Chelsea Girl. A very thrilling vocal manner. A very nice record. Not worse than what she did with The Velvet Underground.

Hypermagic Mountain. Lots of aggression, raw and pure. Not suitable for everyday listening, but interesting enough to check back later.

Emperor Tomato Ketchup. Great. Marvellous. Awesome. Great…
