    The Cribs
    Last year, after Glen spending 2 years trying to convert me, it was the addition of Marr to the cribs that converted me.

    Pink Floyd
    Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Parts I-V). When I was about 3, first song I ever really loved. It was used in the background of a TV program on the Confederate Air Force (Texas). Footage of the aircraft silhouetted against the sunrise/sunset which Pink Floyd in the background. Twas truly epic - wish I could find the VHS again.

    When I first consciously heard them - work placement at Ogilvy Action (Digital Department) with their video editing dude - showing me a piece of work he had done - with them in the background - got the album later that day.

    Sadly not. Ian Curtiss killing himself 7 years before I was born made that a bit difficult. I can see New Order live, but it wouldn't be the same.

    Arctic Monkeys
    Yeah, good old days of sixth form. Never been so obsessed with a group so quickly for such a short amount of time (2 or 3 weeks). I had long since got bored of them by the time their first album came out.

    Sunday Bloody Sunday - just genius. The combination of edgy early U2 Drums and Guitar work perfectly - with Bono's vocals.

    That's a tough one as he is one of the greatest lyricists of all time. But I get shivers overtime I listen to God when he says "I don't believe in Beatles". The pause in the music as the word Beatles just floats in the air, and the slight crackle in his voice as he says it.

    Physical Graffiti. Tough as it really depends what mood you're in - hard rock, epic, blues rock, folk, acoustic.

    Never! Really wish I did - sadly, now that Jimmy Chamberlin has left, i'm not sure if I want to see them live now - as it shouldn't be called Smashing Pumpkins - should just be called 'Billy Corgan'
