Born Lanre Ismail Lawal, on October 10 in Agege, Lagos State, Lanre’s earliest romance with showbiz started in his high school (Onipetesi High School, Agege) where he doubled as the school's Social Prefect, and everyone’s favorite MC at birthday bashes and other get-together. In 2001, he (with 2 other friends) started an event management squad named The Don Brothers at Lagos City Computer College & Polytechnic while studying for Diploma in Computer Science. The squad organized many events and picnics some of which include the school’s end of the year party in 2002.

Lanre Lawal started the dream in 2002! Blarque Entertainment started from the underground in Agege where he grew in 2002. The company won an award for Best Artiste Management Company in Agege the same year (2002).

In quest for practical and more advanced knowledge of the business-side of artiste management, Lanre Lawal joined Nigeria’s first and biggest artiste management company, Now Muzik in 2004. Elevating from a road-runner to Head, Artiste Management at Now Muzik, Lanre Lawal contributed vastly and gave undivided attention towards the development of the company, also had the opportunity to contribute to providing business management and/or label support services for some of the biggest names and brightest new talents like Sunny Neji, 2face Idibia, Ruggedman, Mr. Kool, NIG.G.A Raw, African China, Obiwon, Freestyle, Tunde & Wunmi Obe (TWO), Inferno, Niyola, Thrill Squad, 2-Shotz, Eedris Abdulkareem, Muma Gee, Illbliss, Draynno6ix and Felix Duke amongst others.

In 2007, Lanre Lawal returned to the dream with vast experience and wide connection/network, started Blarque Brotha Entertainment (formerly Blarque Entertainment) - a complete entertainment solution outfit with primary obligation of providing Label/Management Support, Media/P.R. consultancy for artistes and the corporate industry.
