Methods of music research can be implemented in methods of studying (may be helpful).

I have always been obsessed by music; my ever-growing collection consists of 4000+ artists. Some people would say that it’s not constructive to spend so much time on music as long as time is extremely valuable and usually you can’t create any added value when you listen to music. What’s more, not so long ago I wasn’t good at studying, especially at mathematics. There were two main reasons: firstly, I wasn’t the most talented person ever, secondly, my passion for music often didn’t let me be productive. I even started thinking that something was wrong with me! Lately I’ve been trying to combat the problem and not without success! I think that there are quite a few people with the same problem, that’s why I want to tell you about my simple(?) but effective (at least in my case) method.
INTRODUCTION
Everything started when I intentionally decided to extend my consciousness in terms of intellectual abilities and later to improve my physical abilities, physique and health in general. I started composing different methods of self-improvement which worked out quite well in my opinion. For example, many females, especially the most beautiful ones, have become really interested in me recently: some of them call me handsome, others ask whether I have a girlfriend or at least tell me about my extraordinary sense of humour. And I’m not joking, I don’t have any intention to do so. I united my methods under the following name - «The process of extreme development».
THE METHOD
Firstly, you should have internet connection, secondly you should have strong motivation (though there are special methods of developing motivation but I hope you already have it if you are still reading).
Step One. I suppose that one of the things that you usually do is sitting in front of the computer and searching for /reading about different (obscure, out of print) bands, composers, etc. You feel excited every time you’ve discovered a good release. You research somewhere in the depth of music and its different issues, right? The world of science is just as twisted and multilayered as the world of music, it contains many obscure underrated scientist as well as authors of learning aids and manuals. In other worlds, some scientist and/or authors of practical manuals are overrated and others are underrated. Simple as fuck, isn’t it? But, as simple as it looks, the first thing you should start to do if you want to improve you performance in your studying is to try to do research on your subjects just as deeply and thoroughly as you do when you do research in the realm of music. Believe me, it is extremely gratifying to do so. Personally, when I wasn’t good at economics, I downloaded and read hundreds of books related to different economic schools as well as read, inspected and questioned every line of the materials and data that were given in my curriculum. After this painstaking in-depth research my knowledge and understanding of economics have increased dramatically, just like after my music research my competence in different genres is improved. Currently I do the same to learn mathematics. Though in this case I learn a bit more about the means of practice than the means of theory but the theory and theory in every science are unquestionably important. It’s not difficult at all, everyone can do it. Just like when you do your daily music research, you feel the flow of thoughts that give you an idea how to sort out& find the right material. Check out every scientist& author you can, you will definitely find something interesting and suitable for you.
Step Two. You must develop passion for such cases. Partly, it comes from motivation, but it’s not enough. You must also try to realize that life is an extremely complex and extremely interesting subject itself – in fact life is magic, life is beautiful. Be grateful for every sad and uplifting, dark and bright moments of your life, realize that all aspects of it contribute to you development. I hope that music geeks are untypical people (not superior but untypical) and thus most of them can’t disagree with me, but now you must understand this on even more profound level – so profound that you think that your day is wasted if you haven’t discovered anything new , constructive, complex and challenging. For, instance, we can not know for sure if mathematics is a discovered or an invented subject. To even more drive yourself to productive condition, try to listen to some dark hateful music beforehand while thinking in order to answer why you such a loser and can’t get good marks and some stupid ( rich, arrogant, greedy etc) guy can, so you may be driven by hatred!
Step Three. Organize (manage) you time. Write a weekly schedule that covers every important aspect of your life and think what is constrictive and what’s not. It’s important as fuck, very important. And when the week and even day is over, try to OBJECTIVELY review in a written or oral form your daily performance (e.g.whether you studied well). That’s what I do.Moreover, when go though material that you learn, try as well to do three things: read it carefully at least twice, try to explain it to yourself in an oral form, write down everithing you consider important and don't forget to put down any necessary accompanying explanation. Thus, when you read you writings in future , there won't be any problems in refreshing the information. If you don't understand something when you read then read it again or ask somebody who is competent therein or try to look through any similar source any you will definitely find the solution. If somebody says that you are not talented enough, don't believe them. Fuck everyone who thinks that you can't do something!
And the last, but not the least, try to go to bed on time if possible because when you sleep your brain structures you knowledge. It’ very, very important.
