Wczoraj odbył się koncert Ulvera w krakowskim KlubStudio. Wystarczy rzut oka w moje statsy, żeby domyśleć się, że nie mogło mnie tam nie być ;) Nie będę się długo rozpisywał. Spodziewałem się dużo bardziej kameralnego klubu, rozmiar imprezy mnie mocno zaskoczył (KlubStudio wygląda jak skrzyżowanie warszawskich Proximy i Stodoły, przy czym rozmiarem bliżej mu do tego drugiego). Dużym minusem było, że z akoholu było tylko piwo. Powetowałem to sobie kupieniem bluzy z kapturem z napisem "Ulver" ;)

Do rzeczy. Supportów nie znałem zupełnie. Jako pierwsi zagrali Tides From Nebula. Całkiem przyjemna muzyka, muszę ich gdzieś poszukać i posłuchać. Zupełnie…

Sun 30 Mar – Żywiołak, Percival Schuttenbach

No to dałem ciała. Na koncercie grał tylko Percival Schuttenbach. Z Żywiołaka był TroL, który wspierał Percivala. W sumie było nawet sympatycznie, ale… No nie był to Żywiołak, po prostu :( Wszystkich, którzy tak jak ja nastawili się na konkretny zespół, przepraszam (sam stworzyłem event na last.fm). Następnym razem postaram się doczytać dokładnie, co ludzie piszą na swoich stronach internetowych, i nie myśleć życzeniowo ;]

Recently a friend of mine reminded me of something I did not listen to too long. He mentioned The Future Sound of Music. I missed this. Very much.
There is a funny story connected with this album. I was searching for a birthday gift for the forementioned friend, and I have found Perdition City. I knew that he likes Ulver, so I asked the guys in the shop: "Can I listen a sample of this?" And so I left the shop with two copies of it - one for him, one for me… :-)

Riders on the Storm, I love this song. Long time ago, with this song in my earphones I have planned one of my best RPG sessions ever. The music, text, Jim's voice… It's all so hypnotizing. I also love The End - especially the text about King Edip that Jim says. When I was in high school one of my friends wrote that text in his school notepad; I read that and I was shocked - I did not connect the text with the myth ;-) Music came to me later. It's still with me. Still hypnotizing.
