Sat 6 Mar – Dropkick Murphys
Larry and His Flask
Dropkick Murphys
Definately An interesting concert, The Opening Act 'Larry and His Flask' Was a definate Treat, It was a band that reminded me of a Country Cookout, with a Bassist with Full-Body-Turrets-Syndrome, was just a lot of fun. The second Act, Stung Out, was a standard Punk Rock band, nothing really interesting. Dropkicks were awesome, First Song, atleast 6 people crowdsurfed to the front. The Bagpipist was cool, being the first one to come on, and I was suprised they pulled someone to preform "Dirty Glass" unfortunately I missed the womans name. The encore was Shippin up to Boston, and Barroom Heros. The show as a whole was definately one of the best I have seen, with plenty of Crowd Involvment. My only complaint was I was Expecting them to play 'Worker's Song', but that wasn't that big, because of their 25 or 27 song setlist that made up for it.
Overall Great Show, Great Bands, and Sorry Bassist of Larry and His Flask for Calling you a Roadie.
