Well we know Cornell is a fan. :) Yeah, not a lot of major changes to the profile, but the artist/band pages are a lot different. My LastFM script is about to run out, and I'm thinking of letting it go, and then going for a Spotify script. There are things I like about both, but I really like listening to full albums (especially if I'm thinking of buying an album, it's nice to listen first).

Got my details? ; ) I've been reading for the last week about Axl's tantrum (big surprise there). I'm sure you had a great time, and are probably busy with work etc., but when you get time pop in over at HRR and post in that HOF thread so I (and others) can read you! Unless there are things that shouldn't go public. :p

There ya go...90's alternative metal (won't use the "G" word) works for any musical rut. Nothing was new to you, but it all felt like home right? *sigh* 90's nostalgia. Did these bands come up in your playlist: Skin Yard, Truly, Green River, Malfunkshun, Paw, Gruntruck, Tad? Not as well-known/popular as SG, AIC etc...but shouldn't be missed.

I do too. There are times when I scroll through albums looking for something that I feel like listening to, and it takes forever before something "hits," Moody little music bitches, aren't we? haha, I think mood has a lot do with it in my case anyway. Just so you know, HRR obviously has a strong focus on Hard Rock, but I think you'd be surprised what else we're all into there. Music has that ability to effect everyone differently, and that results in varied tastes that can be shared/explored. You may even turn people on to something new/different yourself. ttys

I have the cure for that music rut you said you were in. Wait for it... http://hardrockrevolution.com/ :D Seriously, we all share new/old bands that we've discovered almost every day! It's havoc on my budget, because you know I have to buy and add the good stuff to my collection. Just go there and check out the threads and listen to the examples/videos. You don't have to reply/contribute. I hate being in a music rut. Which is why I started the site in the first place.

Stopped by to see what you've been listening to. Going back to Red Rocks, huh? Colorado two July's in a row! Too bad it wasn't to see SG again. Maybe next summer? Looks like they are going to be out of the country this summer. If I had the funds I'd make a trip over to see them in London, or Spain. Maybe someday. :)

Also - I don't have/want cable tv (I like music more anyway)... We'll see a better reflection of how much I listen to next month.

almost - it is actually from the initial 'scrobble' when I joined, it added all the music I already listened to. !

You traveled a long way. Did you used to live in CO? And, um what...you intentionally missed Mars Volta? ; ) Can't say I blame you. lol I never got into them, and I was very under-whelmed by their performance at Red Rocks. VIP package, wow...I'd probably never pay for that. Where were your seats?

Where did you fly in to Colorado from? I met a ton of people that drove, and/or flew in for the show at Red Rocks. I agree it was worth the money. I never regretted it for a second. I'd even return to that venue to see them on the album tour too! Someone said seeing a show at Red Rocks should be on everyone's "bucket list"...I concur. I can die happy now. : )

lol, thanks for the one word comment, on my one word review of the SG show at Red Rocks. It seems together we have summed it up perfectly. : ) If you'd like to check out my full before the show/concert review you can check it out on my website. http://www.hardrockrevolution.com/SMF/concert-reviews/soundgarden-red-rocks-july-18-2011-503/
